To all of you that have expressed your condolences and sympathies from here and across the globe- I give you my sincerest and most heartfelt thanks. Your outpouring of love and respect has meant a lot to me and to my family during this time of great sorrow. Vojislav Rasovic was everything you remembered him to be; a good man, a strong man, a patriot and friend, a humanitarian and a role model to aspire to be. A true Montenegrin.
To me, he was also the man who taught me how to tell time, how to pour soup “the right way”, and how to make shadow puppets when the power went out. He taught me to believe in Santa Claus, to believe in myself, and that no matter how old I became -no man would ever love me as much as he did. And in the future, while I can speak with pride about his accolades and accomplishments, to my children, most especially to my daughter Amélie, I know one of his greatest teachings will always be how to turn a fork into a catapult.
He was my Tata. He was our Dedo.
We will love him forever; we will miss him for always.
